thats waht the movie is about :
its the year 2050 or something and in japan there`s a unemploymend rate of like 15 % + and alot of crime at teh schools.. so they make a new law called BR / Battle Royal...
if a class doesnt go to school or does shit in class its for BR
then they get send to an island ...everyones gettin things around their heads which explode when you try to put em off or leave the island...
everyones gettin random weapons and a bit water...
then they have 3 days time to kill each other because only ONE person is allowed to leave the island after those 3 days... if more than 1 are alive then all of em explode

I have a limitied edition tamagotchi.
Only 600 were made. Prolly be worth a lot one day... just like my limited edition monopoly set :D

no, seriously I really enjoyed watching that film and I didnt think I would, I just settled down and you really get to feel for the char's in the film, seeing the kid going from dope smoking crackhead to hardworking kid that cares for his father who then dies its a real good film.
