Black or white boards... ?

I'd personally enjoy black, or really dark gray, like the one that's used now. Will the style change, too? What I mean by this is that couple of posters above me wrote a single sentence yet their posts covered half of my screen and im on a 1280x1024 resolution. Kinda impractical, but I'm just used to the standard-looking forums, I guess. :P And I got nothing against the posters either!

EDIT: Maybe add 2 styles, one black and one white? Just a suggestion!

Defo black or a dark layout, white gets old fast, looks to plain and can hurt your eyes. I rather it not be total black, imo it should look like a silver chrome but dark, like a hightech feel to it and very clean <3 just my thoughts.

A question: imagine you read The Complete Works Of Shakespeare or a thread about Lasher is underpowered and JH is overpowered at a black screen/white text and at a white screen/black text; in which case your eyes get tired faster?

I agree that the bright white color itself hits your eyes stronger, but the contrast between black and white influences harder while reading. And the combination black paper/white text is more tiring for eyeeeeezzz.
