mobo + processor + memory question

the ASUS Striker Extreme mobo supports up to 1333mhz memory

the Q6600 specs say it only has a 1066mhz FSB

would I get any benefits by getting the 1333 mhz memory or would it be limited to 1066 by the processor?

what if i OC the processor, can I use faster memory and get benifits?

It's only like £500 excluding monitor for a good PC. Things are dirt cheap these days
