Never knew him I don't think, but hate to see people go before thier time.
Best wishes out to those he's left behind.
Hate it when stuff like this happens. Like Demon said when people go well before their time.
Didn't know him but rest in piece and best wishes.
Never knew him but.

Hi to all that played alongside my son Matt Kench aka Nexero. I wanted to post on this forum for a long time now but have found it difficult to put any words together.
Matt was killed when we think he possibly misjudged a bend in the road on his way home after spending the evening at the house of his friend Dom in Merley, Dorset, UK
Thankyou for the very nice tribute LEFF. Thankyou also to those that left comments. "escape" certainly is right in saying that it sux when a parent has to bury a child - it really is the worst thing ever...I have never felt so ill in my life. Its difficult to plan ahead now because my plans involved Matt. As you all know Matt had a wicked sense of humour which he aquired in the main from me I think. We laughed at the same things e.g TV shows such as Southpark. Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Alan Partridge, Will and Grace, Father Ted...oh so much!
Online gaming - he spent most of his waking life playing WoW or Planetside. Before those games were popular he and his brother Jay aka CrazyJake would play AA together online whenever possible. We also spent evenings on the LAN together playing Ravenshield, SWAT4, Operation Flashpoint ( Matt made some fantastic maps for that) to name a few.
He had a massive turnout at his funeral. He will be missed dearly by so many people, most of all his brother Jay who spends a lonely time at home wishing he could chat to Matt about anything PC related or go together to the gym once again.
Time is a great healer, it just takes one heck of a lot of it.
Once again, thankyou to all those good friends Matt made in the virtual world.
For those that are interested, Jay and me have bought a domain http://nexero.co.uk in memory of Matt which has quite a few pics that you may like to take a look at.
Ian Kench
Thank you for your posting.
He was a great fellow and a good friend to many of us.
His nick nor his name will ever be forgotten.
R.I.P. Matt
Rest in peace fellow gamer
Thank you for sharing that Gallery with us, Ian - most of these pictures I have never seen before. I have never met Matt apart from all the time we spent online together, but even after 6 month it feels weird to not have him on teamspeak. He was a part of our community, and even though we argued so many times I consider him as one of the best friends I ever found online and I loved his wicked kind of humor - which for I have to thank you as it seems - I do not want to miss a single minute that I spent playing and talking to him, knowing that the gap he left cannot be filled by anyone.
Time may heal the pain, but I wont let it take away the memories. Never.
This remembers me of a old story told by my mother:
A rich man asked a Zen master to write something down that could encourage the prosperity of his family for years to come. It would be something that the family could cherish for generations. On a large piece of paper, the master wrote, "Father dies, son dies, grandson dies."
The rich man became angry when he saw the master's work. "I asked you to write something down that could bring happiness and prosperity to my family. Why do you give me something depressing like this?"
"If your son should die before you," the master answered, "this would bring unbearable grief to your family. If your grandson should die before your son, this also would bring great sorrow. If your family, generation after generation, disappears in the order I have described, it will be the natural course of life. This is true happiness and prosperity."
I have never known Nexero, i havent even played the same Game as him, but if this Accident wouldnt have happened, i would probably play Tabula Rasa with him right now and trying to get known with him.
Over all the Years i have seen several people passing away from Game Communities, and it was always a great Shock, even tough you did not really know those people or even played together with them, you know they were part of your Community, which for some People is the same as a Family.
All i can say is that im sad to have missed my Chance to meet Nexero. May he live on in a better World.
*yes i know this is very late, but i kept this for myselfe until i realized that his Dad was visiting our Forums, so i had to put it out for him*

Hi all,
I am Nexero's Mum. Thankyou all for the lovelly comments etc about my son. He is missed very much there is not a hour in the day I dont think about him, you never expect to loose a child and even 6 months on its just the same. He was such a laugh, kind and caring. Altho he could be a little sod at times lol...like going out and leaving the windows open pc on and burning the saucepan when cooking his noodles lol..
I have something funny to tell you all..when he was about 3-4 he was in the bath, I got him out wrapped him in a big towel and was drying him when he said to me "Mum when i go in the army who is going to dry me?" well I replied probably "the sergeant probably" well as you can imagine we laughed for some time about that and Matt always denied saying it hehehe...
Anyway Thanks again all and take care and most of all enjoy ya lifeeeeee

It´s really hard to say something when someone loose´s a relative as close as a son. I also lost my father recently and all i can say is that i hope your heart heals soon and try to remember all the good moments he gaved you.

hello,
i found this thread after looking up on matt abit, i too played ps with him, in which he consistently kicked my ass and rubbed it in that a 22 year old got his ass handed to him by a 15 year old.. but those were the best days of planetside where ass handing went every which way and im happy to remember it like that
shortly before he died out of the blue he emailed me, he mistook me for itburnz (another player) and we mailed back and forth a couple of times, i dont remember what i sent last, but he passed away so sadly i got no reply. here is the mail, typical nex i found :w00t: (ashamed to say ive been a 'show offline' user.. but i dont do that anymore :o)
lol hey dude, i realised just after i sent the email xD
I have you on my MSN contact list, but you never appear online. What ever
happened?
what games are you playing these days? you should come back to PS, have a
look at the new weapons they've added
