View Full Version : New skin for a while
OK so leff's been shouting at me for ages to get a new skin inplace and whilst i havent had time to completely grant his wishes I have slapped this together quickly.
Now its only a temporary solution just to get us away from the grey/black/green style but hopefully you guys will like it.
I have actually been using this skin to test some new features and idea's out for future usage most noticeably the navigation menu at the top.
Anyway hope you enjoy and it shuts leff up for a while :)
for those of you complaining about the style find me 1) (X)HTML & CSS Guru 2) a good GFX artist who wont fuck off after 10 minutes
I like all the small changes you did alot better then the actual skin ^^ The new ts window, the usercp on the side, the "reply" button instead of "quote" for the news.
I´m still using the neocron skin though :)
Yeah, I'll have to agree you've done a very good job here Hinch. <3
Love the new features, just need a darker colour scheme and we'll be cooking.

Nice work indeed, the boards became more organized, gotta love the new top panel and TS display. A bit too much grey melting into the background but I think that's managable.
Done a good job, Hinch, keep it up :)
i've darkened it down a little

Nice
Now we know what Hinchs' favourite colour is. :p
btw: I just noticed that longer usernames on ts fuck up the layout of the ts window.
not alot i can do about that leff really though i am going to shuffle about with teh portal at some point soon see if i can free up some more space

Is it just my Opera pouting or all the lists (like site navigation options, messages in profiles, profile options, etc.) are aligned by centre? Imho left alignment is better - easier to read.
As for the TS window problem, what about making the type smaller?
navigation at the top should he left and right aligned if you mean the welcome back and the pm status thingies.
the main navigation menu portal/forums/map etc is over all left aligned with the text for each button central aligned. I used IE and FF compliant generic CSS positioning for it if it isnt displaying right in opera a) i've never tested it in opera b) could be upgrading to latest version.
as for the TS display until I can see it when its displaying wrong I dont know how to fix it so far its always looked just fine for me
heya, i've come to help out...
