Plantronics Digital Headset Gamecom Pro1,

Steel Sound 5H USB Headset Gamers headset, or a cheaper alternative

Logitech Precision Gaming Headset. I have onboard soundcard so the plantronics might be the best as that comes with soundcard, can anyone with some knowlage tell me what to get?

Buy nice SONY headphones and glue a mic to them.
If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself : )

the difference is imaginary, in the hyperrealism that the general public projects onto the product.

not rly, it's MY way : )

Like my watercooling. Here in poland most popular is 10mm tubing. From what I know, western wolrd use 8 or 6mm.
I use 16 : )

Here in the states .5 inch is standard (inside diameter)which is 12.7 mm. The one i'm thinking about building when i get the spare money which will be after i upgrade to a AM2 socket CPU. Will be 5/8 of a inch (ID) 15.88 mm.

And to stay on topic. I like my logitech headset but i find my old (and broken) plantronics so much more comfortable.

yeah, 12mm. I think I'll revert to that too when I'll start messing with my system again. The 5/8 is just too sturdy and surprisingly heavy when filled with water.

I bought a cheap headset. The mic cable was unshielded and mic support broke in no time. So I put a bigger mic on a copper wire, bought 3 meters of shielded cable and it rocks now. Only headset with mic really infront of my mouth so I can turn 20dB gain off : )

I am thinking of building a preamplifier in...

Faggot like Quinn and me said, choose dat shit, dj headphones are MADE for good noise and high DBage, and they are confortable to wear for long periods of time, whilst 30 dolla/pound/real currency headsets just have SHITE sound....

vamps he's got the same as me which as far as sound quality of peoples voices on comms its the clearest and most accurate along with its built in sound card allows for you to double chain things together too.

if anything i'd say its possibly the best gaming headset you can get at current short of spending like £100+ on a REALLY decent one
