So ive got a budget of about $700 for a mid range system for my new truck. Its an extended cab 2008 colorado. I should have plenty of room for a truck size pre built box for the subs.

So anyway, can anyone recommend a good deck, amp and pre build box with a sub? Preferably the sub/amp being the same brand.. thanks! :)

Don't buy Crunch.
I had to return my amp twice, and it seems i am by far not the only one that has had problems with brand new Crunch components just not working. I went to a local dealer and got a new amp with the same performance for half the price. The owner of the shop even told me he doesn't sell Crunch, because it only means trouble.

Rockford Fosgate are amazing speakers and amps, I know that much. As far as a deck goes, I have an IPOD ready Pioneer deck. It's fucking amazing, I never have to keep a CD in my car again. Load up a playlist onto my ipod thats like 100 songs, put it on random, and let it go.

I also have an ipod ready pioneer, just havent got the adapter cable yet. And a single-bandpass Hifonics sub, sounds awesome if listening to rock and anything with guitar, for other music as house/trance/hiphop etc. it sounds rather weak.

Hm, I havent heard of that brand of sub. But yeah I just picked up a pioneer deck from best buy, and having them install it on wednesday. For the subs/amp ive got my eyes on this for right now

I dont need alot of bass to shake down the neighbors house so i think it'll be perfect and the perfect fit for the cab. People were saying it hits just as hard as 2 10" subs... im pretty set on getting it once i get paid
