Is there anyway to transfer 500MB of data from one PC to the other without a CD burner?

quickest way, = remove hard drive from old computer, set the jumper as slave, stick it onto the new computer, copy over that way. Quicker than a LAN too.

Not if both computer a setup, it will only be connecting one lead. And im not sure he knows how to take a HDD out :P

k well it was just the download its back at 100kb/sec :P but removing HDD is a nono and buying stuff jsut to ransfer the RYL.exe thing is pointless is there anyway like to jsut get a cable and connect them then transfer them thru tat?

Yes, you can get 2 USB Network Cards, which plug into the sockets marked "USB". Then Windows can run a wizard, to plug them all in and shit like that.

no cables? no hard drive swapping? just redownload the client, or if u dont know a place then pick a fast random ftp with a public incoming folder, toss it up on the old machine and download it on the new

Easiest thing in the world. Just share the folder you want transferred to the other comp.
