Ok So I live in teh uk!

I was wondering If i got an non pal PS3 i.e from Japan or hong kong Would i be able to go online with it in the UK and play all the games surf download etc ?

If the answer is yes then would there be any other reasons for not getting a foreign one ?

tbh I dont have a real clue, but the first question should be if your Screen can handle the nonpal-console (ntsc?), right? Apart from that most PAL games dont work with NTSC (because of regional restrictions) Afaik you would have to modify your hardware, which is illegal ofc....

my ps2 plays pal or ntsc with the mod chip i got in it, dunno about the ps3 tho i wont get one until ps4's are comin out....i dont play console enough to have the latest, its way cheaper and better in the long run to wait until the next gen system is out and buy the old one for dirt cheap, and by then the mod chips will be DOOOOPE too.
