i want to upgrade my ram but i dont know if my computer already has PC1600 (DDR200) or PC 2100 (DDR266) RAM

is there any way to find out how?

well, you work out the FSB of your computer, like, if its an AMD 2200+ running at 1800 on a 266 fsb, then, the FSB is 133, which means, fuck knows :p Umm, just get DDR400, it should revert to the slowest form of travel (ddr1600 or someting) just dont quote me on that

alright i think its 266,

edit: found 512 mb for £65, that ok? *doesnt know much about RAM pricing*

266 = 2100, i got 512 from ebay for 40 quid on the buy now option, was some IBM stuff too, class item.

uhm, was there ever a DDR200 ? I thought all ddr halo started from 133MHz (ddr266)

defo check Ebay out, i buy all my PC shite from there, and i have never had any roblems yet.

most people with 50+ feedbacks are very reliable and will offer 12-36 months warranty especially on memory.

there is a guy (cant remember name) who uses dane-elec memory which comes with a life-time warrenty

always cheaper than the shops
