I havent been able to face Planetside since the Merge. Just havent had the urge to log in, been quite busy, and everything.
I was planning on making a comeback at somepoint get that br9 on Gemin leveled up before the game closes. Just making the most of getting the game out my system.

In short the devs have said, "we listened to the TR whiners so we are giving them surge speed maxes with increased rof and accuracy"... "and they keep lockdown."
WTF?!

don't TR have the most overpowered max anyway with its minigun able to stick out like 20k rounds whilst all other maxes get 1 or 2 off.
I'm curious as to whether they have any plans to make a PS2, because you'd have thought they'd learn from their mistakes. I'm sure if they did it well enough it'd get players, if it offered more incentive for people to play the game a lot more.
Perhaps SOE is just in the business of killing MMOs they own and trying to buy more MMOs to slaughter now.

Apparently SOE have no plans for PS2.
SOE tends to buy up MMO's and keeps them going, arguably the MMOs they bought recently would have evaporated without support unless they had bought them.
However they do kind of buy and forget.

Nah, their MAXs are crap, except for Burster.

Knowing SOE and their talent to "balance" things this overdrive ability will make TR maxes absolutely overpowered, not balanced.
Imagine bursters who can just shoot at you while walking with locked-down firepower. AV maxes will EAT everything and the AI maxes with overdrive will make look scatmaxes like little puppies.
And the strafing and moving bonus is just sick...
I dont understand how they can be so stupid...

Someone is approaching planetside from the RPG viewpoint where a skill adding those bonuses isnt a problem. What they are forgetting is that planetside is not an RPG.
Either that or they have hired a shit for brains muppet as the developer, but seeing as PS is probably sharing devs on part time loans from the other SOE game I am assuming its the former.

Luckily LEFF they aren't actually as good as they are when locked down. I think it only really makes them a little better than the other max's while using the overdrive. They have also hinted in the thread about it that they will remove the surge speed thing as that is ridiculous and everyone went mad about it lol.
If you ask me they should have just buffed them while not deployed and left them without a capacitor. If they were more in line with the dps of the other max's while they were undeployed they really wouldn't need fixing. Except perhaps making them less effective when deployed I suppose lol.

Have you heard the latest from BanD, in an attempt to piss off the current players, if you attend the fanfair you can get a free 25/5 character with -FF after there name.
I think these are signs that PS is in hospital attached to life support and someone keeps tripping over the plug.
have you heard the latest from TripX who got silenced after flaming brewko? He started an request to TK anyone whos running around with an FF tag. and ofc ill participate :D
