Hey guys,
I've decided to play WoW again and probably on a semi active basis, atleast until the new expansion, which I'll buy and play actively aswell.
I'd like to know where all the former FA'ers are hanging out ... Because I'll be looking for a guild to apply to, to join their raiding team (or start as social atfirst). Could you reply and also state what your guild is and what their status is concerning mage recuitment (put in a good word for me plz) and also what content you are currently raiding.
I'll be looking for a MH and BT raiding guild as my gear is up to standard for that. It's not good enough for Sunwell.
Nway, let me know where you hang out etc cuz I'd prefer to play with former FA'ers.

I strongly doubt I'd ever get into Veterans again, as Mystical still has me on ignore and I strongly doubt False would let me apply ... :(
Perhaps you could put in a good word as I wouldn't mind rejoining them (as I enjoyed my time there).
And Caras, yeah I caved in. Esp as AoC turned out to be yet another joke :(

Plus your gear should about the same lvl as mine, and I got declined because of it.
Trying cant hurt though.
Another problem might be: semi-active? Nearly all MH/BT-guilds i know require 4 raids a week minimum. I was shocked, too :o
So guilds which might fit:
- Eaten (pretty new, SSC/TK/MH cleared, BT 4/9 afaik. Problem: they require 5 raids/week attendance)
- Punished (where Jebb and I are; SSC cleared, TK 3/4, MH 4/5, BT 4/9. Problem: definately full on mages, theres usually more mages online than required)
- Desecration (SSC 3/6, TK 2/4, MH 1/5; very nice people, but slacked so much in raids that I quit)
- Zero Tolerance (TK 2/4, MH 5/5, BT 4/9: I dont know anything more about em though, but remember aleex/harryo whining. Leonti likes them.)
- Lyrical (cleared SSC/TK/MH, BT 6/9: remembered them being a swedish guild, but i've seen em advertise in english today)

Well, I don't know your current gear but mine is pretty good for a mage that hasn't cleared BT or MH yet. There is nothing in SSC or TK (but Kael's sword or dagger) that can possibly upgrade my gear. I'm even using BT and MH epics already nway.
I've also got 135 badges stacked up so I can get 1-2 badge reward items aswell.
But yeah, I won't be able to raid more then twice a week during the summer.
Nway thanks for the list.

Well, I don't know your current gear
Thats can be changed: Click me (http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Al%27Akir&n=Mythoughts)

Depending on what it is, more like 0.9 - 1 items :]
But anyways, your gear is definately good enough for BT. It's all about selling yourself...

I recommend saying 2-4 attendances in applications :P

Heh, I was sure gonna do that ... becides, they require you to raid 4-5 times a week but for mages, in most guilds, that means 2 nights and rest on backup :D

aye, make sure to have a thick enough portfolio to present to the company.. i mean guild you are applying to, and plenty of strong past references from previous employers.. i mean guilds, that speak highly of you.
lolz ^_^
i didnt say i liked Zero Tolerance i said if u want to progress through mh and bt they are not bad for it but as any guild they have their own down sides (raiding every day lol)

I'm in Kalevlased with Grindcore currently, although it's more from a lack of interest about going elsewhere rather than wanting to stay in the guild. No raids going on as most raiders left for Sunwell raiding guilds on other servers or on summer breaks. I don't see myself ever raiding with them, either.
About raiding in TBC, I'll probably not join a raiding guild, not that I couldn't spare time to raid 3-4 times a week but rather because I cba to. I'll rather wait for the expansion and see whether we can set up a casual raiding core or if we don't, I'll find some other guild to casually raid with.
On the other hand, we could set up FA right away and try some casual KZ/ZA runs. The Amani War Bears will no longer drop when the expansion is out, so for those who don't have it (which is like all of us lolz), we could aim to do that, it's quite hardcore. This will obviously mean no 25man raids as I doubt there'll be anyone who can bother recruiting and teaching so many new people to play :>

Better than waving free epics around like most people do, followed by statements of how you sacrificed your life to get every heroic key, every craftable and your friends to get to where you are :D
My application to FA consisted of Devils Grace playing my account, with him saying to Hinch "I'm DG from NC, so let me in, or else" :p

Well there are 2 things that would keep me interested in WoW:
- Endgame raids: This requires a guild that does MH and BT.
- 10 man instances for badges: Since I still need over 150 badges to completely upgrade my char to the best possible epics (outside endbosses in BT and Sunwell). But then I'd like to clear each atleast once a week. And finding 10 FA'ers to raid atleast twice a week, and on the same night, is impossible.

Well, it is well known that the only way you could have joined FA was through desception, blackmailing and other similar means :)
Well Kj Viruk is currently in Aztecs, where i am as a social, do the odd raid.
But there are a few of us leveling and instancing together with new chars, from the good old FA core. Ctp, Crazy, Avie, Tiger, Grincore, ????fromafar...

I'd be interested in running 10 man instances or even just heroics with you guys, whether we decide to form as FA again before WotLK or not.
There probably aren't enough ex-FA people who'd be interested in doing that atm though. That'd mean recruitment. And recruitment isn't fun. :(
It shouldn't take us long to get our lowbies up, then we'll be able to do them as I know I don't plan on playing any of my current 70s properly any time soon.
