What are some Good Spells for a Wizard?

I hit level 20 on my mage, and I'm in the middle of the wizard quest.

The spells I have so far are:

Wind Strike
Ice Bolt
Poisen
Vampric Touch

I didn't get Weakness, because I heard it sucked(true?)

What about these spells?:

Aura Burn
Blaze
Flame Strike(AoE?)

Which ones are the best damage spells?

which type of wizard if ur a dark elf wizard invest in twister and aura burn to lvl 2 asap it will help a lot, and if u have enough after u bought those 2 and also the passive skills invest in a summon spell or flame strike but the flame strike is not that useful until ur a bit higher lvl.

I am a Human Wizard, I should have mentioned that.... :oops:

I don't have Twister available, I did get the Blaze(lvl2) and most of the passive skills.

I can get the Aura Burn, but I have no clue what the spell does, the description doesn't really make any sence:

Aura Burn;
"Attack opponent in contact but gives no damage. Power 19."
wtf?


I can get Kat the Cat summon, not sure how to use it though, or what it does, exactly.....

This is my first mage(my other characters are all melee), so I'm kind of clueless on some stuff..

But he levels fast.. :twisted: and I'm have more fun with this toon, than the others....

flame strike is good to aoe ... lets say a few golems at EG or alot of liriens and stuff...

aura burn is some attack spell .. not bad

kat the cat is powerllving .. a summon which does nice dmg and keeps the aggro from you ^^

i dont play a mage personally so thats all i know about that :/
