the patching can take ages hinch, i reinstalled about 3 weeks ago and it took me 1 1/2hours to patch

From what i heard about it, it could even make TK viable in PvP again.

Im going master merchant to try and sort our towns trade, atm we hardly get any visitors, but since we are still in limbo about runnin everything could take a while.
I tried holo grinding on my old char, i just dont have the patience.
eldars dont hit too hard but the 100% resist is nasty just sit there and grind it down :)
i doubt tka's will become viable again anytime soon we had our time of being overpowered at retail release i was ch tka :) evil combo back then
still since i mainly avoid pvp im not too fussed its a quick way of gathering resources i got 17k hide and 8k bones in one buff session last night :)
i can come live in ur city if u want more citizens.

my end game for main char is something like this
tkm,merchant 0/0/0/4, scout 0/0/4/0
spare points will be split between dodge in fencer and ranged defence in rifleman but i currently have a +5 ranged defence shirt on under my armour.
my alt is going master artisan (speeders), master architecht, merchant 0/0/0/4 :) and as far into weaponsmith as i can.
though i may drop achitecht and skill that on my main if i have enough points free allowing me to master weaponsmith
im from jupiter :)

Btw, just thought i'd let everyone know that since i play on Saturn, if anyone needs help switching to the server, do notify me. I can help make the transition easier with csted lowbie items for lvling, cash, and ppu support.
our mall is ace every vendor is labled so it only sells what it says on teh tin and none of them are ever over stocked so its never laggy :)
thing is we do get a considerable amount of passing through trade and people that come from all over for cray's armour

Good to know, KDS's mall is insane, Soooo many vendors most with a huge amount of stock. I do go there often, there food and drink vendors are very nice, usually got everything u need. Although they were out of Muon when i went to help em deal with some pesky Rebs the other day :roll:

for architecht rush up the resource installations (ind tech) tree.
make sure each build is only a practice run they give most xp as they use most resources.
if when your ready to start selling stuff you need some where to place vendors you can stick a few in my large house as being an architecht you'll require most of your land plots for putting mineral extractors on etc.

I got Naim sorted with some steel to grind, so hes flying along now.
I also got some of that TK food if u want to come along and take a couple +24 unarmed and i think u can take 3 at once. = +72 unarmed which sounds pretty leathal to me, especially PvM when u can take 3k + off things already GROUPSEX

just looked at the skillmanager someone had posted in another thread here..
and have decided to go this path :
Artisan : 4141
Architect : 4444+1
Merchant : 0044
Marksman : 0044
Carbineer : 4444+1
i would master artisan first as thats quite quick and easy only surveying takes time then drop it to 4/0/4/0
will free up some points to get another marksman box in something else look for +dodge or +defence
i had 4 points free.. and they fit best with the artisan.. they are just points i had nothing else to use for..
i am as good as master architect now.

no only a master of that class can learn it
so only a master weaponsmith can learn weapon a weapon schematic.
however!!
these are dropped schematics they look a little like scroll's
the schematics you create at crafting stations are for use in factorys.
so for example say you design a piece of furnature and you then experiment on it to make it better instead of creating that item you make a 1000 use schematic.
you then goto a structure and furnishing factory and put the schema in and the resources requires to build 1000 of it put some energy in and pay your maintenance and then walk away
come back a couple of days later and voila you have a crate with 1000 things in it.
you can then take them out 1 at a time and sell em in a vendor OR if its something small like lights sell them in crates of 25 (using split) in your vendors
then spend a couple of days stood around coronet spamming your vendor coords out :) (something im yet todo though i have sold 10 maxxed rate extractors in 2 days with 0 advertising just because its in the fang trading op)

it takes approx 1.5 million in cash to master an elite prof (architecht is one)
because you c ant hunt yet your using all other peoples resources to lvl up etc.
HOWEVER
once your master get your self some experimentation tapes etc and some be clothes with tapes added to give you some serious crafting bonus's
and then setup a small house with like 8 vendors in it (sell your stuff by class)
try to set it up near a city like bestine, ancor head, or coronet (theyre the major citys)
I would, but my guardian resource angel, is living in praetoria.. so it would be easiest to get resources from him, if i lived there too..

you need to make sure your vendors are in apprioate places to make sure you get good trade
like my fang trading op vendor gets 3x more usage than my other 2 on naboo.
but still theres some good weapons for you if you want them

Doubt i will be on tonight, but if u get resources grind ribbed shirts up to field wear 4 then grind cartridge belts.
If i were u i would change your setup slightly, dont bother with Master artisan get some merchant skills so u can place another vendor, 1 vendor for Archi Stuff and Tailor stuff wouldnt be fun to scroll through tbh.
Go something like
Artisan 4440
Archi Master
Tailor Master
Merchant 0004
Marksman 1144
More Vendors = easier browsing. Plus u get to change your house sign :mrgreen:
the master artisan will let me build electronic gb modules, i need for various different furnitures and buildings..

I generally found the social aspect of being a tradeskill the best part. Being a happy go lucky type of guy i enjoy meeting and chattin to various different types of people. It counters the ego's of pvp'ers quite nicely makes all round the game a little more enjoyabe :D

Thats weird, I have a base ping of 70 on Chim, soon as i jump to gorath its a minimum of 140, usually around 300 :(
Im thinking of going DE soon to, really cant be arsed with the hunting or pvp side atm, hasnt been the same since overpowered buffs and armour has hit the seen, mind used to a prob, brandy has cleared that, Krayts and Kimos are solo'able :roll: all in all got very boring for me tbh.

ranc missions are best they take like 5 mins per mission and on a 3 hour buff set at 37k per mission your loaded
2 days doing 3 hour buff hunts a day and you have a mill in bank easy :)
failing that im about to start a 2nd account to go weaponsmith :)
have primary as tka smuggler and 2nd as crafter so ill make you all the weapons you want :)
you best get hunting krayts for some nice tissues also could do with some geno loot for making nice pistols :)

what parts are they they could be required off a different skill class.
like for armoursmith alot of armour requires stuff off tailors
it was Power Conditioner and Energy something somethnig..
I think they are artisan items, as the electronics thing needed for torches and data terminals..
but luckily im trying to master artisan soon, so i can make them.
i should master artisan tonight so if you gimmie resources i can make you like 100 of each to get you started
