Has anyone ever seen the film Seed?
I watched it last night.
I can quite happily watch Faces of Death etc etc... Anything apart from animals being abused.
This was definatley the wrong film choice for me.. Also I'm not really to keen on kids, and I always say I could watch a child over an animal being tortured.
After watching this film I realise how fucking wrong i was!! I've never seen anything so sick in my life, and i'll be definatly thinking about the things i saw in this film for about....a week until i forget and start hating children again haha!
Someone watch it, or watch the first 20 mins when you have time and tell me if your as shocked as i was. :secret:

Those are Chinese fur farmers apparently. I still don't get why they don't just slit the throats of the animals, you could keep the blood off the majority of the fur if you kept it in the right position. There are plenty of ways to kill animals in quick clean ways, which would surely make the process of skinning the animal easier. Even the nazis held the view that animals should be treated well.

One of the reasons I hate the Chinese. I saw that video quite a few years ago. It's no real shocker, if you delve into what the Chinese are doing and have done in regards to animal and human rights for decades. It's new to have it distributed in the mainstream, which is obviously a good thing, since it helps to put much needed pressure on them. They often say that we're just different in the Western world, and that we shouldn't impose our views of animal and human rights on them, but that just shows how far behind they really are in so many regards. Their capitalism is through the roof, but so many other factors are halting stupendously.
The fur industry is like that in most countries east of Germany. Russia especially is just as bad as China.
The reason those fur farmers don't slit the throats, is because it might damage the skin in that area, and it'll take too much time to repair. Being cruel to an animal is nothing compared to making a few extra cents each day. Bludgeoning, but not killing, keeps them rigid enough, not limp, to make it easier to pull the skin than if the animal was dead also, one might imagine. It's all about the money, and what can be done to reduce costs and maximize profits. Those farmers don't earn shit, so they try to maximize their own profits. The farmers' bosses are the shitfucks who earn the big slice, while leaving every lowly farmer in the economical shit. If they were treated better, they might get an incentive to treat the animals better as well, although that's unlikely for the time being still. It's same as with the great sweatshops that kill teens, working them to death, promising wealth if those young people come from their rural areas and to the often remotely located sweatshops. They earn almost nothing still and work themselves to death. There are no numbers or statistics for those people and the number of deaths in that regard, as with most Chinese deaths.
If you delve into China, and what they are still doing, you're in for a shock. It's a horrible, horrible, horrible country.

There's room for 8-10 times as many people in the world, if not many many more. All we need to do is make sure we create a sustainable environment for us all to exist in. I'd hate to see that many people, though. I say we kill of 95% of everyone, then institute severe birth regulations, making sure that would-be parents must pass elaborate tests and get a parenting license, before they can have children.
