yep, the amounts of times ive made something to spec and the spec was not what the customer explained is rediculous

haha theres an entire business in mediating between customer and producer, to try and smallen the difference between the wanted endresult and the description.

Yea, it's called the system analyst, who are just as bad. They are the ones that are suppose to meet with the clients and analyze their needs.

problem is, developers would never understand what the customer wanted, project managers are there to translate what the customer wants with their localised jargon to what the developers understand with the tech jargon...
