View Full Version : Question about this section

Is this forum section meant to be like how fa.com used to be? Can I say and do whatever I want or will be it moderated if people don't like what is being said?

Can post anything I want here, or will it be moderated? Or will only things in here be moderated when someone does not like something that is said.

Also, is it wise for mods to be posting in her if they will moderate things they don't approve of? I mean it's for flaming, I want to say anything to anyone, I don't want to worry about a mod getting upset and moderating it.

Also, I'd appreciate if no mods post in this thread, I just want to hear what everyone else thinks. You can post when it seems like everyone has said what they feel like. But hey, you're a moderator, who cares I guess...

I hope this does not get locked/deleted or I get banned knowing how uptight some people are around here.

If i understand it correctly, than yes this pretty much is a pretty open/free section.

Pete, there are people on this forum who I won't take insults from because I don't like people to be 2-faced, but you've been pretty consistent. Good for you

Now, by 'pretty open/free section' do you mean completely free? or free where mods can do what they want?

Pete is this in reference to something specific? or is it in relation to something that *could* happen?

i know u said no mod posts, but its counterproductive if u can't provide instances where i've done something u didn't like that i can work with...

the point of the 'afterhours' section is to keep the 'working hours' section clean for people that dont like trolling. while there are no 'official' rules for it, the only thing im ever going to moderate from this section without being requested to do so is inhumane or pornographic content... if a thread starter requests that stuff is removed from their post in after hours then i will look at that, and reported posts also. im not giving out infractions for content posted into after hours unless it is pornographic or inhumane, either.

give me specifics to back up ur complaint and i will look at them.

can we at least state that any thread containing such images be clearly marked to save my eyes?

Pete
21-11-2008, 13:21
don't read afterhours then...

or look for threads that are marked with an attachment or link.

Oh, and thanks for proving my point you've been moderating for personal reasons.

"Me no like porn, me moderate!!!"

just tag them as pornographic, u can see tags from the thread listing

lol, moderating for personal reasons? more like keeping the place a little cleaner and more readable. please note pete, hinch hasn't actually complained about anything ive done.

hinch's board, hinch's rules. if he says pornographic images are fine, then i won't remove them.

You've already told me why he wanted you to be a mod;)

Anyways, back on topic. Out of the thread, more people still can give their opinion.

Anyways, back on topic.

sorry pete, this section of the forum doesn't fall under 'on topic' rules...

Pete
21-11-2008, 13:29
And that stops me from saying 'on topic' how?

pixel
21-11-2008, 13:31

Pete

Quality post crazy. It's erotic, educational and mysterious (I've no idea what it is). That ticks all three boxes for me, and so I mark it with the Pete seal of approval.

ClUR

I do read threads, to an extent.. Nb I have fun, thats what i do. Nothing better than a good old read of FA (what i can be arsed reading) whilst being paid to do boring work. :D
