I have no problem with the flaming in afterhours provided that at the end of the day nobody gets upset. By upset I do not mean one of the current FanG players going 'oh we dont like the spam' but if somebody raises a valid complaint I am *ALWAYS* going to deal with it, no matter who it came from. First of all, Lexxuk gave me several tainted memories that I've had to block out of my mind from my teenage years, however he has done nothing untowards in any of his posts recently and as a moderator I have to take an unbiased view on every post on here.

I was actually fine with a mod, and was actually going to tone down the flaming, until she defended lexxuk and then closed a thread right after I posted a link showing lexx that even pixel has called him a pedophile. She was perfectly fine posting in the thread, and with it, until I posted the link. She brought it upon herself by modding for personal reasons. I've only made a fuss when she's modded for personal reasons, or modding in afterhours.

the reason for assigning mods wasn't because of a girl but because the gaming divisions have been whining for me to implement mods for 2 years so i picked one who's not associated with FA and one who is the longest standing FA member after me.

Yes, while right now you are infact saying the same to potential new gamers. I'm sorry, but I was under the impression that FA was a gaming community. Yet 90%,of the posters here aren't even playing games atm. The current users use this forum to flame, create rediculous threads, flame some more, provoke a mod like a bunch of babies. And please try to deny this Pete, I'd love to see with what good arguements you'd come up to counter this.
So I can understand why new users feel reluctant to either play with FA or use the forum if their first impression is things like "Afterhours".
