This is like my 90th attempt at having a "blog" I've never managed to keep one regular or even semi-regular.

I just never have anything interesting to say

So with Caras working on coding, and hinch doing ... whatever it is he does, I sat down to write the detailed story synopsis. Using the story given to me by Viruk, I managed to squeeze out a main backstory, and with the help of Booney and Viruk, we finished the backstory for the announcement last week.

Then begain the fun part, writing the levels. After two days of brainstorming with Booney on msn, aswell as a few pow-wows with the V-man, we finally managed to set some details in stone....

Have to get up early to take the boat to Uruguay tomorrow, but suffering from midnight 'creativity' is going to prevent me from getting a decent nights sleep.

Worked on the game code a bit, thought mostly caught up with other work. Mainly testing, roughing out, tweaking and finishing some of the classes that the MenuManager component needs - which will be continued on throughout the next week.

So begins the foray into creating FA studios first game - 'Nanowars'.

This will be the first official 'blog' concerning the development behind the game, although some form of mild brainstorming, planning, graphics and programming doodling have gone on since June/July-ish when Hinch first approached me about the idea.

Obtaining the menu graphics from Phali, I reworked the cyborg face a bit in photoshop (gave it a more worn/gritty/cracked texture and played with the lighting/shadows)....
