I've never been on the lookout tbh. You can't force such things. After all, think back at how you got into your previous long relationship. Most of the time it happened due to circumstances.

I didn't had this "I want to be with that woman" with my current gf. We just met eachother due to circumstances and it hit off, that's how simple it can go.

Same goes for my previous relationship.

Same here, I've never been on the lookout really, just things start off a bit of fun and end up lasting for a few years...if the same thing happened again and ended up lasting forever, so be it

Well, if things start off, then I'm in it for real. I mean, I don't start it as "a bit of fun" but I take it serious right from the start. For that to work, you need to be very selective on who you want to start of with tbh.

By bit of fun I don't just mean one night stands and casual sex and the like with multiple people...I mean just going out once or twice a week to the movies, or a restaurant, or for a drink, that kinda thing, not jumping straight in the deep end with joint bank accounts, moving in with each other and getting a dog, kinda things. If I'm seeing someone, I'm seeing them, I'm not the kinda guy that goes around behind people's backs with multiple girls on the go while I decide who to settle for...
