well as some may know the station is having a revamp, new promos, new website, new dj's, and out of all of it im spending a lot of money.

anyways due to listener contributions and donations from 2 people on these forums we now have a special fund target completed to buy a promo from jjmckay, www.jjmckay.com.

anyways a part of the revamp is we are going to introduce a news broadcast, containing world news. intro's, music and sfx are all sorted so all we need now is the actual news man/woman.

we need someone with a clean clear voice, and is a naturally good speaker, accents dont matter that much although a very strong specific accent wont do very well (for example pure liverpool accent) since it does broadcast to people of different countries all over the world.

but we would need someone who can meet a strict deadline in doing a broadcast, and it is only a few minutes of work a day.

it would also be nice if we could get more then one news broadcaster too but we'll see.

oh and it is all for fun before anyone asks :D

oh yeah, out of interest, with no one listening to your radio station, and no one advertising on your radiostation and the only money you get is by begging, how are you managing to afford the licence fees required for a internet radio station? From the MCPS to the PRS to the mandatory permission (with fee's) from EMI, Warner, BMG, Sony, Universal. I mean, your obviously have their permission to broadcast their material, and I'm guessing your not getting around that by using DAB which would set you back 80k a year, so I'm guessing you dont actually have a licence to broadcast on your pathetic station, you best email apu@mcps.co.uk and report yourself.
